Hello from all of us at The Well!

Looking Back at March

Our special gatherings remind us why this space exists. Nadine’s Spring Sound Bath was one of those special gatherings—90-minutes of deep rest, resonance, and quiet connection. To witness so many of you allowing yourselves to slow down, receive, and be held in sound is powerful.

Here’s one attendee’s reflection:
“Nadine’s sound bath felt like a journey for my soul. The warm, candlelit space immediately put me at ease, and every detail — from the blankets to the eye masks — was so thoughtfully prepared. Her gentle guidance allowed me to surrender to the waves of sound while still feeling safe and grounded. I experienced a range of emotions, yet underneath it all was a deep sense of peace. When it ended, I felt alive, calm, and completely whole. It was one of those rare experiences you wish could last just a little longer.”

If this sounds like something you’d like to attend, join Nadine for her next one:
Summer Solstice Sound Bath
Sunday June 21 @ 4PM

This Month’s Theme:
Staying Connected to Yourself as Life Speeds Up

As we move into spring, there’s a noticeable shift. The days are getting longer, the energy is building, and life is beginning to fill in all around us. We are at an in-between space—the edge where we’re emerging from winter’s slowness, but not quite in the full outward pull of summer. This edge can sometimes blend into moments where it becomes easier and easier to drift away from ourselves.

The invitation we’re holding right now:
Not to do more—but to stay connected to ourselves within all that is unfolding.

We’d love to hear what this looks like for you as you find balance between ‘busy‘ and ‘being‘.

Val has shared something beautiful this month about tending to her garden—not just as a task, but as a practice.
A way of being present, of noticing, of returning to herself through something simple and alive…

“I have been feeling ecstatic to have garden days back. One day, as I was putting seeds into their new homes, I recognized that the nearby potatoes I planted a month ago were coming up. It was barely noticeable. The soil around the tips had slightly moved, and if I looked closely, I saw the teeny green tips stretching up. They are slowly emerging, being invited by the longer days of light. We, too, are called upon to emerge with spring. All that work and intention setting you did in the winter is ready to flourish more fully now. Or maybe you are beginning an entirely new set of health goals. Now is a great time to slowly emerge out of your shell and let the sun inspire you! Shine your light on you and emerge like those little potatoes.”  -Val

On Thursday April 23rd, Val will be hosting a Reiki Exchange for Practitioners at 9:15AM.
This will be a free gathering. (More info below)

Val will also be completing her Chakra Education series.
For this final week, she’ll be focusing on the 6th & 7th chakras, the Third Eye & Crown Chakras.
(More info below)

Val schedules private Reiki sessions and Usui Reiki certification trainings periodically.

A Simple Practice for ‘Checking-In’

Take a moment this week to pause and check in:

Where is your energy being pulled?
And where are you needing support?

Place a hand on your body—heart, belly, wherever feels natural—and take a few slow breaths.

You don’t need to change anything.
Just notice.

Connection doesn’t have to be complicated. It just has to be intentional.

In Closing

Everything is shifting right now—our rhythms, our energy, our attention.
The question is: Are we moving with it, or slowly being pulled away from ourselves?

This month, we invite you to choose one thing that supports you—and honor it.
One class, one gathering, one moment to return to yourself.

We’ll be here, holding the space.

With care,
The Well
